Before opening the gallery, Taryn Fisher was the Director of the MBA in Sustainability Program at Antioch University New England. There, she taught Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, and Sustainability (i.e., triple bottom line business practices).
When the MBA Program was put on hiatus due to low enrollment, Taryn sought a way to make a positive impact in the community.
Combining her business acumen (gained through 20 years’ experience working in the corporate sector and through her MFA in Creative Writing from Brooklyn College, her MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, and her Doctorate in Leadership from Franklin Pierce University) with her love for fine art and fine craft, Taryn opened the Keene Fine Craft Gallery in June of 2019 to serve the southwestern corner of NH, the southeastern corner of VT, greater New England, and beyond.
Another something special about the Keene Fine Craft Gallery is Gallery Associate Jasmine Fisher, aka Jazzy.
We showcase the work of juried artists practicing in various media categories including Clay, Glass, Metal, Leather, Baskets, Fiber, Wood, Printmaking, Musical Instruments, Jewelry, and Photography.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our Gallery is currently closed. We are working on plans to re-open. Stay tuned!
OUR MISSION: The mission of the League of NH Craftsmen is to encourage, nurture and promote the creation, use and preservation of fine contemporary and traditional craft through the inspiration and education of artists and the broader community.
